Wipes may specify that they are flushable, but they should not be put in our waste water systems. The only paper product that should be "flushed" is toilet paper. It is the only paper designed to break down as it travels through the wastewater treatment process.
Wet wipes are clogging our pipes. Even though it says flushable, they do not degrade like toilet paper. Don't take our word for it, hear what Peter Rogers a Watercare Manager has to say about them
"We’ve not found one [wet wipe] that breaks down like common toilet paper"
"It’s a big cost to home owners when they get blockages in their private line, and it’s a big cost for us which again, it's really the taxpayer that’s paying for it"
"They block our pumps, so our pumps stop and that can lead to overflows in our network."
Make the switch to Bodifresh, save our pipes, lower your waste footprint, and get the clean you deserve.
